IN HIS SLEEP by Hollie Brooks

Blurb for IN HIS SLEEP by Hollie Brooks
Angie Thompson is desperate for a hot, male--a last minute replacement model for the most important shoot of her photography career. When she stumbles upon Chad Gregory wandering the halls of her hotel in nothing but a pair of boxers, she can't believe her luck. Not only does Mr. Sexy agree to help her out with the shoot, but he gives Angie the best orgasm she's ever had...right there in the hall...up against the wall. The catch? He won't remember a thing. Chad is sleepwalking.
Have you ever met anyone who was sleepwalking? Talking in their sleep? I have. That's where I got the idea for this story. My husband is a sleepwalker. First time I saw him do, scared the pants off of me. He kept walking around the room, naked, scratching his head and mumbling something. I finally asked him what he was doing and he said, "What? I have to explain everything to you? Isn't it obvious?" That's when I realized he wasn't awake. Since then (and it's been 20 years), he has tried to sell me a car, make me jump out of an airplane, try and save me from a wild bird, paint the bathroom and I once found in the front seat of his car in his underwear. A few times, he's even gotten a little frisky. He once called me at work and asked me if had done anything the night before! Said he had a wild dream. No dream. At least, not for me. Normally, he vaguely remembers the things he does in his sleep.
So, I want to know, what is your most wicked dream? What do you dream about? Fantasize about? Desire only in the darkness of the night.

My husband and I have three kids. Two of them talk in their sleep. Sometimes to each other. It's really funny. My one son does walk in his sleep sometimes. One night, I heard him yelling for me. When I finally found him he was in his closet all confused. He had no idea where he was or how he got there. I shouldn't laugh, but it is funny.

Hollie, what an original idea to have sleepwalking sex!

I have very vivid dreams. That's where I get my best ideas for writing.

It's true, real sleepwalking can be a dangerous thing. But what a unique idea for a story, Hollie!

I don't do it (that I know!) nor do I know anyone else who does.

But speaking of vivid sexy dreams... I have plenty, and I too get ideas for stories from sleep dreams.

A note to blogger called "Last" -- I love sci-fi and I write it too. I tried the link to your blog but it isn't connecting. You might want to fix that.

Hey Last - I know this guy who works for NASA and I once asked him about orgasms in space. We had a blast talking about what would really happen, in space that is.

I had way too much fun writing this book!

Hey Hollie and Last - there's an old book I found at a yard sale called Stardance. Talk about fantasy sex in zero-G! The NASA guy-- now there's a good idea for a story, Hollie!

Speaking of talking in his sleep. My brother was staying with us. (this was several years ago and my husband happened to be working graves) During the night, I swore someone was talking outside my bedroom window. completely freaked me out...enought to call the police and ask them to do a driveby and make sure there wasn't anyone up to mischief. Well, you can imagine how stupid I felt when I realized it was my brother sleeping in the bedroom directly below mine.
I told him he needs to whisper in his dreams. Thankfully I couldn't make out what he was saying. my brother can be an odd duck. (okay, oddity runs in the family :) )

Congrats on your upcoming release Hollie baby! I'm so excited for you!
