Praise for Kilt Worthy from Bitten by Books
Jane has been single for far too long. Her last boyfriend did a number on her self esteem by calling her Plain Jane.
Logan MacLaren a fine looking Scotsman in a kilt. With his chocolate brown eyes and beautiful body, he could have any woman he wants with just a crook of his finger.Jane woke up, wanting to take some pictures. She threw on a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt. She finds a hot looking Scotsman in her lens and starts to take pictures of him until he notices and gives her a heart stopping smile. He asks her to come with him, and she can’t help but say yes to him. Like a pig to slaughter, she follows him. Logan has been looking for the one for centuries until today. He knows that he has found her in Jane - he just needs to make her believe him. She has been hurt badly, and he needs to make her see herself as a beauty like he does.
Catherine Bybee’s charming book Kilt Worthy was wonderful. It is in first person, which I admit is not my favorite - I like to know what everyone is thinking because I am nosy. Jane has some major self esteem issues, and I think I would do if I had dated her ex. Logan is perfect looking, but does he have substance? Oh, yes he does. Logan makes up his mind to make Jane feel special and know passion as a woman should. He also has a fun time listening to her because she always seems to say the wrong thing. Sounds familiar.
